A strong system is set to impact the area tonight through Wednesday. A round of thunderstorms is expected tonight into early Tuesday. A few more storms could develop Tuesday afternoon. Hail and damaging winds are the main concerns. Winds then increase, with gusts to 50 and 60 mph Tuesday night and Wednesday. Rain changes to snow Tuesday evening and night. Blizzard conditions will be possible north of I-70 due to the strong winds. Snow ends by sunrise Wednesday with generally around one inch of accumulation.
